It is a synthetic collection of the main operational sub-plans of a business:

marketing, production, finance, human resources....

  • Short history, background (company and persons)

  • General strategy, business model, organization

  • Marketing plan, analysis, mix...

  • Production of goods and services: process, main requirements

  • Financial plan (*)

    • source of funds: equity, debts

    • projected sales, costs, break even, profits, return

    • cash flow projections

    (*) Investors look closely at the critical balance between solvency & profitability

  • Human resources: requirements, responsibilities, compensations

  • Specialized traits and requirements
